—EMERGENCY SKETCH COMMISSIONS—
Hello friends! I’m asking for your help. Last year I was kicked out of my job by a boss who thought it best to lie and manipulate things so I was suddenly deprived of hours just so she could get rid of me. So suddenly having no income whatsoever has been brutal.
I’m opening up some brief sketch commissions just so I can help bring in some extra money for two reasons:
a) I just really need money. It’s getting hard to find the spare change for food and I’m down to pretty much pennies. Not to mention I really need an upgrade in art supplies in order to keep pursuing this career I love.
b) My Mom has been supporting me immensely over these past few months, literally paying all of my rent and living expenses. Her birthday is in March, and I want to be able to give her the gift of not having to send me anything for that month. Or least not having to pay rent.Covering all of my living expenses would require about $500 to $600 for the month, which seems hard to get, so I’m aiming for just my rent, which is $200. (Yeah I know, I get a REALLY good deal rooming with some friends)
What I’m offering:
Bust and full body character sketch commissions!$20 for a bust$30 for a full body sketch
This includes the cost of shipping and packaging to mail it to you. All drawings will be done on 5.5” x 8.5” pieces of cardstock and mailed wherever you’d like. They will be rendered in pencil with shading and plenty of detail like the examples above, so it’s not just line sketches.I can draw creatures/humans/pretty much anything. So the sky is the limit!
How I’m going to do this, is instead of taking money from a ton of people, I’m going to make a waiting list. This is because I am still in class, and if homework suddenly requires my time more, I don’t want anyone who has already paid to suddenly be left hanging. So then as I find myself with spare time between homework, I’ll take the next person on the waiting list, finish their commission, and so on and so forth.
How to get on the waiting list:
E-mail me! - bethanyb.ie@gmail.comAlso include: - Reference sheets (sorry no written descriptions)- Which you would prefer, bust or full body.- Any specifics you want: A certain pose, angle or expression.
And you’ll get a slot on the waiting list! As I have free time, I’ll e-mail people and let them know, and after receiving payment I’ll start the sketch.
———
If you don’t have money for a commission, I’d still appreciate a reblog to help spread this around. Or if you somehow feel it in your heart to donate even a few dollars, my paypal is the same as my e-mail, bethanyb.ie@gmail.com
Thanks very much,-Bethany
